Cholamandal Arts Village will be playing host to a newbie in the music and band industry- Indoor Gharana. Comprising of just three members, it seems to be promising and vibrant. The core of Indoor Gharana lies in the fusion of diverse and distinct cultures, sounds, ideologies and lyrical representations. Their music is an eclectic mix of being experimental, electronic, fusion, lounge, trance and folk.

Neehar Dabade found that after being an engineer for a year, the process of creation and playing with sounds on the canvas of a musical portraiture gave him immense satisfaction. It is then that he decided to switch his career to music. He did foundation piano in Chennai and since then has been associated with various projects as a composer, music programmer/arranger, recording engineer & music assistant to various composers in India.

Deepak Sugathan started getting entwined with his guitar at an early stage of his childhood. After finishing his audio engineering in Chennai, he has worked on a wide range of projects as an audio engineer, music producer, mixing engineer and a session guitarist. Some of them include the Bangalore Metro signature tune, Namma Metro, Solo album Mann Bawara, promotional song for the Hollywood movie, Smurfs 2, composed by Hip-Hop Tamizha and Paadhai as session guitarist and singer for their projects.

Nitasha Sharma is the vocal relief in this band and originally started off with Hindustani music and slowly expanding to other genres. She is also a clinical psychologist when she is not busy singing her heart out!
